Curated Connections — including all games, quizzes, conversation cards, journal prompts, and reflection tools — is an entertainment and personal enrichment platform. Think of it like a thoughtful card game, a journal, or a conversation starter. Nothing more.
Our content is designed to spark meaningful conversations and personal reflection. It is created in the same spirit as personality quizzes, trivia games, and social card games. We do not practice psychology, therapy, counseling, or medicine.

Terms of Service
These Terms govern your use of Curated Connections, operated by RespondIQ LLC. By using the app you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.
Who can use Curated Connections
You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. Users under 18 should have parental awareness of their use. Some features — including journal storage and Living Legacy — require account creation.
Your account
You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure. You may not share your account with others or use the service for commercial purposes without our written permission.
Your content
You own your content. Journal entries, voice recordings, photos, stories, and anything you contribute to Living Legacy belong to you. We do not claim ownership of your personal content.
By uploading content you grant RespondIQ LLC a limited license to store and display it within the service on your behalf. We do not sell, share, or use your personal content for advertising.
You agree not to upload content that is illegal, harmful to others, or violates third-party rights.
Subscriptions and billing
Paid tiers (Connect $4.99/mo, Insight $9.99/mo, Legacy $19.99/mo, Living Legacy $4.99/mo) are billed monthly. You may cancel at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not offer refunds for partial periods.
Data on cancellation: Connect subscribers retain 90-day access to saved content after cancellation. Legacy subscribers retain permanent access to Legacy archive content regardless of subscription status.
Storage billing
Each subscription tier includes a base storage allowance for photos, voice recordings, and video content — primarily used in Living Legacy contributions.
Gather — no storage included
Connect — 1GB included
Insight — 5GB included
Legacy — 10GB included
When your storage usage exceeds your tier's included allowance, additional storage is billed at $2.99 per GB per month. This cost is passed through to you at cost — we do not mark it up. You will be notified before any storage overage charges are applied and given the option to manage your storage.
You can view your current storage usage, delete uploaded files, and manage your storage at any time from your account settings. Deleting a Living Legacy contribution permanently removes it from storage.
What we provide
We provide the service as-is. We work hard to keep it running reliably but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms occasionally. We'll notify you of significant changes via email or in-app notice. Continued use after notice constitutes acceptance.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Kansas, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Privacy Policy
We take your privacy seriously — especially because this app holds personal reflections, family memories, and meaningful content. Here is exactly what we collect, why, and how we protect it.
What we collect
Account information — name, email address, password (encrypted)
Content you create — journal entries, saved cards, voice recordings, photos, Living Legacy contributions
Usage information — which features you use, game sessions played, general app activity
Payment information — processed securely through Stripe. We never store card numbers.
Device information — device type, operating system, for technical support purposes
What we do not collect
We do not sell your data to advertisers or third parties
We do not use your journal entries or personal content for advertising
We do not share your personal content without your explicit consent
We do not use your data to train AI models without separate consent

Your content and storage
Journal entries — Connect subscribers: stored for 90 days after last activity. Insight and Legacy subscribers: stored for the duration of their subscription plus a 90-day grace period. Legacy archive content is stored permanently.
Living Legacy contributions — stored permanently regardless of the contributing account's status. The keeper of a Legacy account controls the archive.
Voice and video recordings — stored securely and accessible only to you and anyone you explicitly share them with.
Sharing and circles
When you choose to share a reflection or moment to a Circle, that content becomes visible to the members of that Circle. Sharing is always your choice — nothing is shared automatically. You can remove shared content from a Circle at any time.
Your rights
Access — request a copy of all data we hold about you
Correction — update or correct your personal information
Deletion — request deletion of your account and associated data
Export — download your journal entries and content at any time
Opt-out — unsubscribe from marketing communications at any time
Children's privacy
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
Security
We use industry-standard encryption for data in transit and at rest. Passwords are hashed and never stored in plain text. Payment data is handled entirely by Stripe and never touches our servers.
Changes to this policy
We will notify you of material changes to this Privacy Policy via email and in-app notice at least 14 days before they take effect.
